COLD-ROLLED NON-ORIENTED ELECTRICAL STEEL

Non-oriented electrical steel is a soft magnetic alloy of ferrosilicon with a very low carbon content. It is the core material of the rotor of motors and generators working in a rotating magnetic field. It requires good magnetic properties and process performance. It is an indispensable and important material in the power, electronics and military industries.

Cold-rolled oriented silicon steel refers to cold-rolled electrical steel containing 2.9% to 3.5% Si and with a certain regularity and direction in the crystal structure of the steel plate. It generally refers to a single-oriented silicon steel sheet with a Gaussian texture, that is, silicon steel with the (110) crystal plane parallel to the rolling plane and the [001] crystal direction parallel to the rolling direction. There is also a cold-rolled dual-oriented (cubic texture {100}<001>) silicon steel. Function: Cold-rolled oriented silicon steel is also called cold-rolled transformer steel, which is used to manufacture the core of various transformers.
